Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I schedule a session?
You can schedule a question using our Contact Us form, or by e-mailing us at info@rootworkswellness.com. A member of our team will reach out to you within 24 hours to learn more about what you are looking for in order to match you with a therapist. Each member of our team has different availability, rates, and areas of expertise, so we will do our best to connect you with your best fit during this call; we will provide referrals as needed.
2. Do you offer video or phone appointments?
All of our therapists offer both in-person and virtual appointments. Currently, we only offer telehealth therapy services to residents of Ohio. Telehealth sessions are held through a secure video conferencing platform. At this moment, we do not offer phone appointments.
3. Do you accept insurance?
Our practice is currently private pay, and therefore, considered out of network with insurance. Benefits of this for clients include increased confidentiality, no requirement to diagnose, and no limitations or restrictions on treatment length or content.
Many insurance carriers do offer partial reimbursement for out of network services, so we encourage you to contact your health insurance provider to inquire about these potential benefits. We are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to help receive these benefits, known as a superbill. Although we are not able to submit claims to your insurance, we do accept payment via HSA/FSA cards. Please know that you are ultimately responsible for payment of the full fee, regardless of insurance costs/benefits.
4. Where are you located and is there parking?
We are located at 3345 Whitfield Avenue in Gaslight Clifton. There is parking in the back of the building, where you are able to enter through the glass door. Your therapist will provide you with the door code to enter the waiting room, where we encourage you to help yourself to any refreshments as you wait.
If the parking in the back of the building is full, there is additional parking in the front of the building as well as street parking.
5. Do you prescribe medications?
No, we do not prescribe medication. However, if you feel that it could be beneficial to you, we may recommend collaborating with a psychiatrist or other prescribing professional and in this, we are happy to provide referrals.

How We Help
Counseling
We offer individual therapy that is rooted in mind and body practices to help you better understand your feelings, patterns, stuck points and how you came to live the life you are living. The internal stories that all of us write for ourselves in childhood often directs the life we are living in the present. With presence, compassion, curiosity, creativity and courage, we will get to the roots of who you have become and why to rewrite your script.
